COLLECTIVE COMMUNITY FUND (CCF) — TERMS OF SERVICE

By downloading or using the CCF app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. THE CCF SAAS PLATFORM
Collective Community Fund ("CCF") is a Wyoming-based technology company providing a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. CCF provides a digital interface that enables users to contribute idle device utility to support disaster relief. CCF is not a bank, a money transmitter, or a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. 1.1 Premium Features. In this Agreement, "premium features" means the features of the app that generate real disaster relief funding: the conversion of your device's idle Wi-Fi bandwidth into funds directed to verified relief organizations during contribution sessions, together with the associated impact tracking in the My Impact dashboard. These features involve no payment, subscription, or fee. They become available when you enable Web Indexing, as described in Section 7.
2. THE GIFT OF UTILITY MECHANIC
2.1 Voluntary Resource Sharing. By enabling Web Indexing in Settings and accepting the Bright Data consent screen, you authorize the integrated Bright SDK to utilize your device's idle internet bandwidth — on Wi-Fi connections only — for public web indexing. This authorization remains in effect until you disable Web Indexing in Settings (see Section 6).
2.2 No Financial Outlay. Users do not donate money. The value is generated through the Gift of Utility (bandwidth). No financial transaction is charged to you at any time.
2.3 Non-Compensatory. You acknowledge that this utility is a gift to the mission. You are not an employee, contractor, or partner of CCF and will not receive financial compensation.
2.4 No Legal Interest. You maintain no legal or equitable interest in any funds distributed to third-party organizations. Any estimated impact value displayed in the app is a good-faith estimate and may vary based on Bright Data's settlement cycle.
3. REVENUE AND DISBURSEMENT ARCHITECTURE
3.1 The SaaS Fee. For providing the technology platform, CCF collects a fixed SaaS Platform Fee (typically $0.01 per active device day) from the gross value generated.
3.2 Programmatic Allocation. Remaining funds (the "Impact Value") are routed via Mercury directly to verified 501(c)(3) relief organizations, including Direct Relief, Team Rubicon, and All Hands and Hearts. Partner organizations are independently verified using Every.org records prior to receiving disbursements.
3.3 No Constructive Receipt. CCF provides the software instructions for these transfers but does not act as a custodian of donated funds. CCF never holds, collects, or transmits user-donated money.
3.4 Redirection Reserve. CCF reserves the right to reallocate generated value to a general community reserve if a specific campaign is completed, suspended, or no longer viable.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DEVICE CARE
4.1 Resource Usage. The Bright SDK operates on Wi-Fi connections only and uses only idle resources. You are responsible for your own device settings and battery health. CCF is not liable for any ISP overages, data usage charges, or hardware wear resulting from app usage.
4.2 Wakelock Feature. The app may use Wakelock technology to keep the screen active during sessions. Users should monitor device temperature during extended sessions and discontinue use if the device becomes unusually warm.
4.3 Estimated Values. All earnings estimates displayed in the app (e.g., "Est. +$0.0034") are good-faith approximations based on typical Bright Data settlement rates. Actual amounts may vary. CCF makes no guarantee of specific impact values.
5. GOVERNING LAW AND ARBITRATION
5.1 Jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
5.2 Binding Arbitration. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through individual binding arbitration in Cheyenne, Wyoming. You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class-action lawsuit.
5.3 Class Action Waiver. All claims must be brought in your individual capacity and not as part of any class or representative proceeding.
6. TERMINATION AND OPT-OUT
6.1 Your Right to Stop. You may stop contributing at any time by toggling off Web Indexing in Settings. Disabling the toggle immediately ends all resource sharing activity.
6.2 CCF's Right to Suspend. CCF reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for operational reasons.
6.3 Effect of Termination. Upon opting out, no further resource sharing occurs. Prior sessions are not retroactively revoked. Any impact value already routed to verified organizations is final.
7. BRIGHT SDK / BRIGHT DATA NETWORK PARTICIPATION
In return for premium features of 'Collective Community Fund', you may choose to be a peer on the Bright Data network. By doing so, you agree to have read and accepted the Bright SDK EULA and Bright Data's Privacy Policy. You may opt out of the Bright Data network by going to Settings and disabling Web Indexing.
